Hooper is located straight west of Riverdale and northwest of Clinton and West point, it is directly adjacent to the Great Salt Lake. It is about 10 minutes away from the causeway to get to Antelope Island. Hooper is a part of Weber County with Ogden just 20 minutes away.
Hooper is a very rural town with a population of just over 8,600. Homes in Hooper range from mid $300k's to mid $600k's. Property sizes can vary from a few thousand square feet to a few acres of farmland. There are not any supermarkets in Hooper however, it is easy to find a neighbor selling fresh eggs or honey.
Hooper has a few parks like Hooper Park and North Park, but the proximity to the Great Salt Lake is what makes Hooper unique.
Hooper has just a few elementary schools and preschools such as Hooper Elementary and Kays Kid Corner. Teenage students who live in Hooper will go to Roy Jr High and Roy High School.
