Sunset is located on the north end of Davis County and is bordered by Clinton to the west, Clearfield to the south, and Hill Air Force Base to the east. Weber County and Roy City are located to the North. If you are transferring to Hill Air Force Base, Sunset is a perfect place to stay. It is a quick 5-8 minute drive to the Roy Gate or West Gate. Sunset is almost equal distance from Ogden to the north and Salt Lake City to the south.
Sunset is a very small, quiet town with a population of just over 5,200. Home values range in the low $200k's to mid $300k's and lot sizes range between .2 acre to 1+ acre. Sunset is directly adjacent to Main Street leading to many fast food or sit down restaurants. There is also a Smith's just off Main Street for grocery shopping.
Sunset is home to a few parks such as Rachael Runyan Park and the John G. White Park.
Sunset is part of the Davis School District and has three elementary schools and one junior high; Sunset Elementary School, Doxey Elementary School, Fremont Elementary School, and Sunset Jr High. High schoolers will go to Northridge High.
